Mergers and Acquisitions
- Strategic Partnership: This internship is conducted in collaboration with Japan Corporate Advisory Institute (JCAI)
- Transactional Support: Assist in core corporate finance activities, including capital raising and cross-border M&A mandates.
- Advisory Collateral: Prepare high-impact marketing materials, including pitch books, confidential investment teasers, and management presentations.
- Valuation & Analytics: Perform rigorous market research, financial modeling, and company valuations to support deal execution.
- Strategic Due Diligence: Contribute to commercial due diligence and the evaluation of strategic considerations for live transactions.
Global Equities

Global Equity Research: Conduct deep-dive analysis on companies within our long-only global equities mandate.

Fundamental Analysis: Develop comprehensive investment recommendations based on rigorous bottom-up research.

Market Intelligence: Monitor and evaluate emerging investment opportunities and broader market shifts.

Strategic Economic Oversight: Analyze macroeconomic and industry-specific trends to identify profitable investment themes.

Location: Preference for candidates based in, or willing to temporarily relocate to, our Kuala Lumpur office for the internship.
Requirements for Candidates
Corporate Finance and M&A Interns:
- University students currently pursuing business or related degree
- Understanding of Financial Reports and Accounting concepts
- Commitment for a minimum period of 3 months (full time)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in Financial modelling is preferred
- We rarely accept 1st year students
Global Equities Research Intern:

Open to all disciplines, though Finance, Economics, or Mathematics is preferred. A strong GPA and a demonstrated interest in the stock market are essential.

A natural curiosity for business models and the ability to deconstruct how companies make returns.

Experience in gathering and synthesizing data from annual reports, and industry news.

Ability to build a logical, evidence-based investment thesis and defend it against counter-arguments.

Comfortable with financial forecasting, ratio analysis, and basic statistical concepts.

Capable of working independently on deep-dive research projects with minimal supervision.
