Point Hope takes a unique approach of integrating educational sponsorship with a holistic career development and mentoring programme for deserving and financially disadvantaged scholars from Southeast Asia and North Asia, in line with the geographical coverage of our investment business.

Established in 2012, the Point Hope Medical School Bursary was set up to support and nurture promising young medical talents with a keen and genuine interest in philanthropy by providing financial assistance to help such talents pursue academic excellence in their chosen field.

Application for the Point Hope Medical School Bursary is open to prospective Asian medical students who have secured a place in a medical school that is accredited by the Singapore Medical Council.

As part of their integrated development programme, Point Hope scholars have been organising Book Prizes at Imperial College for Malaysian and Singaporean students who have excelled academically and demonstrated the qualities of volunteerism and community involvement. Beginning in 2016, Point Hope will also award Book Prizes to deserving Malaysian and Singaporean students at Oxford University.

In 2014, Point Hope also started their partnership with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine by providing education grants to their inaugural batch of students.
